Harry's Blog extra - week 3

I have just been out on my constitutional along the beachfront at Queenscliff and that is an off-leash area where my canine pals were pretty well behaved. I guess it is their owners who let them know what is on and not on. It is the big boisterous dogs with whom I have difficulty. They may be OK to their owners but they want to take over and the owners seem to want to strut a bit. Well, I think every dog should have his day but not at the expense of others.
On a happier topic, people are pretty understanding about our poos and Jim usually has an old plastic bread bag which does the trick. I prefer Helga's myself but most people have their plastic bags at the ready. At least we don't need a shovel, it must have rather tacky back in the early horse and cart days of the 1900's. And as for elephants in Thailand and India, well I don't want to go there.
Well, that's all for now and at the weekend elections keep Jim and I in mind in B Ward. I am waiting for my next life to stand but I will want friendly, attractive neighbourhood centres which Brookvale could become if the new Council can open their eyes. For starters, the Bus Stop opposite the Warringah Mall is a disgrace and what about some attractive roundabouts, instead of concrete domes which are eyesores. I could go on but I have to attend to some rowdiness in the street.
